March 2018
After a recent follow up visit to Holland Bloorview, I decided to spread my fundraising and brain injury awareness efforts to help raise money for their foundation, as well as, Sick Kids Hospital and the Run Cameron Run campaign. I gave them a supply of bracelets to either sell for their foundation or give to kids that use Holland Bloorview. The doctors, nurses and therapists I had there helped me get back to being myself after my injury and this is my way to say thank you. I have been asked to become an Ambassador for Bloorview sharing my story to help raise funds.
February 2018
This year I am adding to my fundraising causes. There is a boy in my school who has Cerebral Palsy and his family is trying to raise money for him to go to St. Louis to get an operation that will relieve some of his pain and help him move easier. I donated some of my bracelets and buttons to help him get to St. Louis. His fund raising campaign is called RunCameronRun
My family and I will be selling the bracelets and buttons at a few events over the next few months.
Sunday, February 11th at 2:00 at the Whitby Fury game at Iroquois Park; and
Saturday, April 7th at 11:30 at the Marigold Ford Lincoln Charity BBQ
