Great Adventure Walk for Sick Kids 2016

We finished, it was hard, I was tired and so was Bam. My feet were killing me but Team I Love Your Brain walked the full 20 kms and raised $1922 for Sick Kids Hospital. This year Team I Love Your Brain joined the Ambassador Amigos group of Teams for the walk because I am a Sick Kids Patient Ambassador. Together with the money we raised, we were part of a group that raised almost $58,000.

My mom, dad and I all have Garmin watches that track our steps and we all did about 34,000 steps that day. We had a contest to see who would come closet to the number of steps, my mom won :(

Thank you to everyone who bought a bracelet and supported our team. Next year we are going to try to raise $3000.

The total amount raised from this year's walk was $2.1 million. That's a lot of money going toward helping kids like me.
